- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2016UPDATE:
The lights stopped working about 4 months back, The connected lights were just not turning on. Don't know If it was some update that messed it up or something else. I was lazy to get them and have them reset since I still had 3 lights on the ceiling. Today while trying to reset, the smart bulb fixture isn't resetting !!! Tried on all 3 and they all fail to reset. So I have lemons with me right now and since these come with 1 year limited warranty, they are good for nothing but to trash them !!!
=======================
In pics:
1. The right row of 3 lights is the Incipio CommandKit wireless Smart bulb, the left row of 3 lights is the iDevices smart bulb
2. The 2 Motion sensors that work with the lights to turn them On and Off
3. The ambient lights on the (in my opinion) better iDevices smart bulb.
Pros:
1. It works well when it works well.
Cons:
1. Works well rarely. If you do get it to work well, DO NOT turn off the main electrical switches. There is no guarantee it will reconnect back when you turn the switch on. Only use the Siri controls or the Home app to turn On / Off the bulbs.
Workarounds so that you are not turning On / Off the main electrical switches:
1. Once you have the smart bulb holder working reliably, use motion sensors to automatically turn light On or Off. Thats what I have done in my living room. I have 2 Eve Motion sensors on two corners of the living room / kitchen such that any motion event triggered by either of them will turn on the living room lights, and a "CLEAR" event triggered by both sensors together will turn off the living room lights.
Better alternatives:
iDevices Bulb sockets go for about the same price. I bought 3 of them and had no issues pairing, and have not had any connection issues with them yet. Also, the iDevices Bulb sockets have ambient led lights built into them (I use them as night lights), so you essentially get two for the price of 1. If you are interested in iDevices Bulb sockets you can use the Promo Code: DELIGHT20 to get 20% off that I got with my first purchase from their website. You can thank me later :)

- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2016From a HomeKit perspective this device worked as well as HomeKit works (It has its own quirks). I used the Incipio app to set it up, but that was painful. Tried several times to get it to connect to wifi (Adding to HomeKit was no problem). Ended up having to reset the device before it connected. Also, if you put any spaces in the name it automatically adds backslashes which looks bad and isn't needed. I just used Elgato Eve app to do everything because this was cumbersome and buggy. Siri did work, and away from home. Other problem was that the lights would flicker as I adjust the brightness. This device also adds 2" to the bulb which cause problems with several of my lamps.
Switched to a Philips hue white bulb. Can do the same thing but only costs $15 or less per bulb and set up instantly and no flicker. Siri works too. Does require a onetime purchase of the hub, but if you get the kit with two bulbs it is roughly the same cost as two Incipio dimmers. After that each addition is $15 or less (if you buy packs).
- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2021Purchased with UV blacklights to control them through Homekit. Kinda sketchy pairing initially but the reset button made it a little less painful. Followed the instructions from one of the reviews someone left and it worked like a charm! (Thanks Guy!)
- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2020The one I received had clearly been opened and returned, not surprising because the included instructions are terrible. Ignore them. Here’s what to do:
1. Unplug or turn off the lamp where you want to install this.
2. Remove the bulb.
3 Screw in the Incipio adapter, then screw the bulb into the Incipio adapter.
4. Plug in/ turn on your lamp. The included instructions omit this step. If it doesn’t have power it’s definitely not going to work.
5. DO NOT download the Incipio CommandKit app. It’ll just confuse you and it’s not needed.
6. Your bulb should be lit and the little blue LED Should be flashing. If not, press the small circular button on the side of the adapter. The bulb should light and the LED should flash. If not, did you forget step 4?
7. Open the Home app on your iOS device. Touch the + icon on the upper right of your screen, then touch “Add Accessory”
8. Scan the setup code. It’s printed on the instructions and on the side of the adapter.
Pros- it works (at least mine does) and its the cheapest way to add a bulb to HomeKit.
Cons- it’s bulky and may not fit where you want to use it. The included instructions and app are confusing.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 202150/50 success on these. Bought two. One seems to be working. The other one loses connection to HomeKit frequently and is extremely difficult to reset & re-pair each time. I've tried the bad one it in several different light fixtures with the same results.
The manufacture's app is useless. Some HomeKit manufactures at least have an app that manages firmware or other quirks of their devices. This is just a confusing wrapper around the Apple Home app with no additional functionality.
As to the working one, these adapters are LARGE. They wouldn't physically fit in several lamps that I tried them in unless the lamp shade was completely removed. They stick up enough that even in lamps where they fit, the bare light bulb sticks out above the lamp shade making for glaring light.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2018I have a 5 of these in my house, well I had five. I am now down to 3 working units. I have had them about 6 months. One is completely unresponsive and the other causes the light to flicker and then stops responding. They are also difficult to program or reprogram. Additionally they do not like 5ghz wifi networks.

2.0 out of 5 stars De regular a malo

5.0 out of 5 stars Funktioniert Problemlos

1.0 out of 5 stars Dilettantische App. 15 Minuten Einrichtungszeit für ein HomeKit Gerät?

1.0 out of 5 stars Tuve que devolverlo en varias ocasiones

1.0 out of 5 stars Keine Anmeldung am WLAN möglich
