I read the instructions and hooked it up, and my Samsung TV was producing a dialogue box that stated that it was a non-ARC connection… at first, I thought the down converter was defective only to find I was not using a bidirectional cable! This fixed the problem, system works as intended, and I dodged a return! This is a great little converter! Just make sure you use the proper cabling… 🙂

Works Great, Sends Audio to Elgato & Headset
There are a lot of Audio HDMI Extractors to choose from and I chose this one because it was Amazon's brand and I have yet to have any issues with any of their branded products. I needed this because I connect to an elgato (video game recording hardware) that then connects to a PC monitor with no way of connecting it to my surround sound headset. This worked perfect, I have surround sound steel series headset connected to the extractor with Optical Audio Toslink . I did have an issue at first with my Nintendo Switch but once i set the option to 5.1 surround in switch options it worked.

音が出るようになりました。
スピーカー機能が無いモニターを購入してHDMIに直繋ぎでfire tv(古いタイプ)を繋げたら音が出なかったので購入しました。Kindleユーザー maah音が出るようになりました。

写真のように繋ぐと音が出るようになりました。
ただし、音量調整はできないので音量調整ができるスピーカーを繋げるようにしてください。
調整のできないイヤホンをつけて聴くと酷い目に遭いますよ。
